Our 
Story

Fully Cooked is a food-focused community built to share honest, practical knowledge about cooking — from simple home meals to professional kitchen tips. It’s a space where anyone, whether just starting out or already working in the industry, can find inspiration, recipes, and ideas that actually work.

My name’s George, and I’ve been a chef for just over ten years. I’ve worked in all kinds of kitchens — from high-end restaurants and seafood spots to large pub chains, busy breakfast cafés, and even McDonald’s. Cooking has been part of my life since I was young. My dad, who also worked in the food industry, is a brilliant cook. My mum sees food more as fuel, which probably pushed me to explore the other side of things. That contrast shaped how I think about food — both as something practical and something worth doing well.

These days, I’m also a dad to a nearly two-year-old boy named Remy — yes, after the rat chef from Ratatouille. My partner and I both love going out to eat when we get the chance (ideally when Remy decides to behave).

Fully Cooked is more than a blog. It’s a growing archive of recipes, cooking insights, and shared stories. It’s a way for me to connect with others who care about food and to build something lasting — something my son might look back on one day and be proud of. Whether you're here for tips, full recipes, or just curious about what’s next, you’re very welcome.
